Nothing has happened yet. what people are feeling now is nothing compared to what will happen if nothing is done next week. You will feel it brotha.

Exactly! People act like if we did away with entitlemnt programs that there would be mass starvation in the streets, which is total garbage. Churches and local charities would step up. I mean how did people make it before all of FDR socialist programs? I guess everybody homeless and eating out of garbage cans. Like I said most of the federal government is just a waste of money. 60 minutes just did a story about all the fraud and waste for disability spending by the federal government.

Churches and charities never commit fraud or waste funds, ever. I'm just done with this thread.

Why doesn't your side support cutting "entitlement programs" to other countries?
If wasting money with Americans is bad, wasting money in other countries should be worse

It always amazes (and alarms) me when we agree. It infuriates me to no end that we are still providing the defense for Europe and Asia 70 after the end of WWII.

I haven't been affected and no friends/relatives/colleagues of mine have been directly affected. However, I know we will all indirectly affected one way or another, sooner or later. The Butterfly effect.
