Any advice on how Harris county is? Floods, schools, etc. I found two houses I like there. Zips are 77069 and 77070. The crime seemed low to me but it is unincorporated so I'm confused.

i think 77070 is serviced by aquatex. its the water supplier that charges $80/mo service charge. might want to check

Actually, there are several water districts in that area. You can check with your realtor or with the county health dept. to determine which services what neighborhood.

There are several MUDs in the area that may or may not service those areas. The 77069 area code is basically Champions I believe. That's more top notch in most people's opinion. Make sure the high school is NOT Klein Forest, I think it gets a little chunk of it. Also make sure its North of 1960.

One of the houses under water said well and the other said water district. The high school wasn't Klein forest. Do you think those zips were good for crime and having kids?

Hmmm, you'd have to maintain your own well on the one. These zips are good, yes...especially 77069.

Ok thank you for the info. Im making a visit there soon to purchase a house and it can get very overwhelming. So far its between Harris county,pearland, spring, cypress, Katy, and the woodlands. I have 13 houses to see in one day. Ouch.

watch out for that cop down rt6 from 290. I got a nasty ticket trying to check out houses in a day
