I work in a small business(65 employees) that is industrial in nature.

We need to make some training videos on how to operate some machinery around the shop. We've tried making our own, but we arent happy with the product at all. The companies Im seeing online(locally) have sample videos that are pretty pathetic, as bad or worse than our own attempts.

Anyone use a company around Houston for this?

Mike,

That sounds like something my son could do. He is a Radio, TV, Film grad and he's done several projects similar to that, but he's out of town right now looking for a job. When were you wanting to get it done? I can see if he could forward some of his work to you.

Thomas

Its something we have been kicking around a while. No timeline, but I cant put them off for months.

I bet he can handle it. Its all about the voiceover and editing. The national association has videos, but our equipment operates differently, so its no help. We need some simple operations highlighted with bi-lingual voice overs.

Hi Mtgmike - my brother in law does this work and I don't think the services are very costly. Here's a sample video of training he did for MMLJ Manufacturing here in Texas. He lives in Houston as well.

*And another really great one he did: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wZKm...E8pI6X61chU-hQ

He is pretty much an all in one shop. He did the acting and voice over work in the first video as well. Voice over also in the 2nd/3rd video. Of course, all of the audio/video/directing/editing is also done by him.

Pls msg me if you are interested and I can let him know.
