Sorry, I'm a very happily married man with a great wife and a small army of children running around.

I'm honestly just here to see what people pay to have their Christmas lights put up... I've heard of it but never actually met someone who does. I might be able to make some good side money putting up Christmas lights for city folks.

For a 2-story house, 3000 sq ft, I have heard people paying as much as $500. Sometimes the lawn guy would do it for $200 to $300.

My friend paid 600 for a two story house, which I think is ridiculous.

Our neighbors just got theirs put up this past weekend. I'm interested but I wouldn't pay more than $200 (insured) I don't even know if that price is possible. If not, we will just wrap our trees and put out the inflatables!

Wow! $500 to put up lights! Think of all the gifts that could be bought with that money.

My parents had me and my brother putting up lights every year. I hated doing it but I'd rather they spent their money on presents rather than lights.

The way I look at it, if you have $500 extra to spend, you're helping the people you hire to buy presents for their family!
