Kingwood - Cafe Du Bois (crazy good spinach and strawberry salad) - Kingwood Casual Fine Dining and Live Music

Kingwood - Chimichurri's South American Grill (Nice patio with live acoustic guitar on a nice patio overlooking the water on some nights and special wine pairing dinners) - Chimichurri

You need to be more specific in what you like. Houston has one of the widest ranges of food available in the country. Look on yelp, b4-u-eat, 29-95 for ideas.

I am from New York City so we have all sorts of Cusines . But Texas is famous for it BBQ... BBQ is a must. steaks, Italian, Fine Dinning is not a issue for us(Price is no concern). Maybe a good steak house. residence of Houston know more of the local spots that yelp and urbanspoon do not detect.

I second b4-u-eat. I haven't found yelp to be reliable with their filters and user vitriol... and 29-95 is a collection of advertisements to give white folks reassurance. But b4-u-eat is legit and 100% local.

May want to check out Houston Press as well.
