I was at another thread saying which are the most boring cities in the world and Houston, Texas kept coming up as the most boring city on Earth. I heard it is because it is so hot and humid over 90 degrees and people stay inside a lot, and because of this you hardly see a soul out in the streets.

Please don't tell me it's because of the big box stores, malls, shopping centers, stadiums, aquariums and the 5 lane highways because I find that cool since I am from a small town

1) Lists like "most boring" and "most cool" are worthless
2) If you can't find something to do in the nations 4th largest city, you're a boring person.

Definitely not boring. Yet, it's pretty boring for a city it's size. It lacks an urban nightlife corridor. It's downtown is lackluster, and Midtown is spotty in it's development. It has a long way to go, but by far it's NOT a boring city overall. There's always concerts, big and small, numerous museums, etc.
