All - unless your inspector is one of those that interjects his own personal opinion of what builders should do. If it is a code violation or it doesn't work - all.

Yes, like cheryjohns has mentioned. all builders should fix anything your independent inspector found that is either not working, against code or is just not correct. We are currently building and we had our inspector perform inspection at pre-pour for the foundation, before sheetrock and we are also scheduling one for the final inspection. All items found by the inspector were taken care of.

Some builders will argue - I won't mention names here - like Lord Voldemort. Others - decent builders - will take the list and repair. You shouldn't have any problems with your builder.

Hopefully your Inspector is providing the appropriate references for the issues such as building codes, proper other standards, manufacturer's requirements, etc.?

Yes, most builders will take care of issues brought up by Third Party Inspectors, with the exception of a few, they will try not to comply at all.
