Where are some good places to take engagement pictures in town? Particularly west Houston (Energy Corridor) & the north side (Spring/Champions Forest) area? Please help!

Rice University, Hermann Park area, Mecom Fountain, Discovery Green, Becks Prime Tree(Galleria) and the Arboretum. Sorry, I know nothing out on that side of town. You can drive an extra 30min for your engagement photos.

Around herman park there are some nice older trees. Botanical garden there or elsewhere in the city, there are several. Don't know if they let you take pictures in Bayou Bend estate. Galleria area has those giant hanging circles for street signs, many visitors have remarked about that, I guess if your photographer is good and get it in the picture somehow. There are some cool buildings and structures downtown/theatre district if you go on the weekends, there's less people in the way.

I also thought of Bayou Bend. Have you picked a photographer? I presume experienced ones know the popular places for pics and could recommend the best location for you after hearing what you like. Possibly the better photographers know of or have access to secret or private spots, too.

My wife and I took ours down near Rice and in Rice Village. Her bridal shots were done at the Raveneaux Country Club on Cypresswood. Hope that helps for both locations!
