I am doing a shoot this weekend & would appreciate any leads to an outdoor setting in & around Houston that has a flowery setting.

Thank you very much in advance!

That is a tough one. You have to find a place with plants that flower in the winter. Maybe there are some in the Arboretum in Memorial Park? If not people there will probably know where to go. Also, maybe Mercer Arboretum near Spring. I would even call the

Houston Arboretum & Nature Center

Give them a call is my best advice.

Mercer Arboretum and the Arbor gate would be good choices. The arbor gate is actually a business, so you may want to contact them first. I don't think you'll find too many flowers at Mercer since it is winter, but since Arbor Gate is a business, they might take extra care to keep plants in bloom.

Mercer keeps seasonal color, but I believe you need clearance from them to shoot there.

What about the Houston zoo? There are some beautiful botanical plants there.
