I drove from Sugar Land to Rosenberg off 59/Reading Rd. Took the back roads of Hwy 90 then to 762. The bridge over the Brazos River was a tad icy and I just slowly crossed. Same with the other two over passes I had to cross over. Didn't want to take 99 to 59 since I wasn't sure how other people would be driving plus didn't care to have any extra icy overpasses to cross over.

Being from Wisconisin I know how to deal with icy roads..its everyone else I worry about.

Hope everyone stays safe today and stays in the best they can.

I live in The Woodlands area (don't like to be specific about where I live)

I drove about 20 miles on a small road without any issues.
The news people should do a better job informing people and tell them to drive on small roads and avoid the highways.

Huh, didn't know you were in TW neighbor.

But they wouldn't have anything to report. It's much more fun for them story wise to report on a freeway than small roads.

When do you all finish out the school year? FBISD's last day of class is June 5th this year (we started Aug 26th).

Actually, somebody that frequents the forum one time said where he lives and I live 1/2 mile from his house
I bet I see him all the time at the grocery store.
But again, I don't like to say where I live.... people could find me

I just wish it would last. How can you stay not seasonal sick with the ridiculous fluctuating we have. Tommorrow back to the 60s and sunshine? From the 30s? You're killing me Houston. Just through Sunday would be nice

The only consistency is the heat for months ongoing. I could so tolerate that better if the cold got the same about of spotlight.

It wasn't even this cold a month ago on Christmas Eve.
