That's a really cute idea. I don't have any suggestions, I'm afraid, but I generally think anywhere with a kid's menu is fair game. Haters gonna hate but kids are people too. Take your date somewhere without a kid's menu if you want to be romantic.

That's really sweet. As long as the kid is well behaved there should be no problem taking them anywhere. Kids might enjoy a place like Chili's or Red Robin because the menu has more kid friendly items. A fancier restaurant will probably have food that they won't want to eat.

MKT Bar downtown by Discovery Green. It's a gorgeous space that's low-lit with candles on the table at night. And yes, they have a kids menu: Houston Wine Bar | Gastropub | MKT BAR | Phoenicia Specialty Foods

I see kids in there from time-to-time (even at night when the adults are there drinking) since it's in a building with residential lofts upstairs.

Buddy...u are suppose to get a free pass from this sort of stuff when you have kid(s). You are setting a bad example for the rest of us

End of rant.

Anyway, no good suggestions....but Mickey D will babysit your kid with their playground while you are dining on the mcrib.
