The park was there only a short time - found some old pictures. Curious - is there anything left standing today (structures, etc.) from this park?

I remember seeing it on our way to New Orleans to visit my grandparents, but sadly, we never got a chance to visit it since we lived on the other side of town (Timbergrove) and my parents were not about to drive "that far" for anything like that.

I went as a young kid and don't remember much other than I liked it. However, I can hear the theme song from the tv commercials in my head. Wish I could find an old commercial to watch so I could get the words and get this song out of my head.

I remember it. We went several times. I think they chose the location because that's where Budweiser is located. Northshore, Gulfgate and Pasadena were all pretty nice back then too.

I remember going, but I don't remember much about it.

What I do remember well, is Peppermint Park.

I've got pictures somewhere of me as a 2 or 3 year old at the park when my parents took me.

I went there with some high-school friends when it first opened. It only lasted a couple of years, which I think was mostly because of it being so small and far away in a remote (for most people), industrial area of town. After it closed, I know that the brewery was expanded onto some of the land used for the park.

There are only 2 left now (Williamsburg and Tampa), but there were (I think) 3 others in the past that also closed.
