Anybody been out to the Dump?

How is the quality for the deals being shown?

Decent quality furniture and price is not bad. It is definitely cheaper than the Star or Gallery furniture places. I think the items is little more contemporary/modern look to them. Think more Macy's like quality and look.

The real bad part is you got to drive to that part of town (greenspoint).

BTW, they only open on weekends. I try to go there once on a weekday and nobody was home.

Furniture is hit or miss for me. But I love their rugs. They have all styles and sizes. And decent prices on them. We usually meander over to Frys while we are there and look around there too.

I've only been one time, about 7 years ago. Some of the furniture was dirty with stains on the cushions and arm rests, some of it was ripped, and didn't look that great as far as quality. The prices were comparable to Gallery Furniture and Finger's Furniture, less expensive than Star Furniture. I haven't been back so they may have improved, or maybe since they hadn't been open long at that time, I caught them at a bad time. When I went, it literally lived up to its name.

I have been there and purchased from there. The quality is ok. Their customer service is not so hot. It is not high end then again it is priced accordingly. I would go to Star Furniture out in Sugar Land.

Definitely not cheap! if you listen to their commercials, they make it sound like you are getting hell of a deal, but everything we looked at was priced just like any other furniture store. Their clearance section did have some really good deals.

I have bought two large rugs and a mattress from them and thought the prices were good. I don't care for their furniture though.

Bought an entertainment center there once. I had seen it in other stores for well over $3k and because it had a scratch in it and needed one door fixed it was $599. You can find some good stuff and then stuff that needs some work for cheap if you look. As stated above it can be hit or miss.

Have seen the ads and commercials and they make it seem like your getting the best stuff at cheap prices.

Thanks for the replies. Might be worth a shot to check it out and as hafer said find something else to do in the area considering the drive.
