I recently moved from Kirkmont to Sagemont or Sageglen or Sagesomething. I am now about a mile from a Harris County library. A visit to a library will tell you how diverse the local community is. This library has sections of books in other languages. I have been going to a Houston library also. Houston libraries, it seems, do not restrict internet access. Harris County libraries, on the hand, block access to sites with words they find objectionable. Houston certainly lives up to its name as the most diverse and liberal city in TX.

It's raining today. I like the rain here. It's heavy with wind and thunder, the way rains are supposed to be. I notice that leaves and trash on the streets are washed down the drainage system. I wonder if this might clog it up.

I have been marveling at the amount of trucks and SUVs I see here. Many people have them. They must be what BMWs, Lexus and Benz are to Californians. There are two Hummers and countless trucks on the street I live on where houses are valued between $95k - $160k. Do some people live above their means? Or are houses so cheap that people can afford expensive vehicles with the money left over?

I think Houston is the most libertarian city in TX. It's still heavy Republican because we're pro-business, not because we want to legislate morality, and money wins. (Austin would be most liberal.) Look at Ron Paul, for instance.

Some people simply have more car than house. It just depends on the demographic. I live where houses are valued $160-230k. Most of us have normal cars that are about 3-5 years old. A few crappy cars they're trying to squeeze the most life out of, too. There are more minivans than SUV's on my street. Only one guy has a big truck. The most popular car on this street is a 5 year old BMW 325i. If you want to see big trucks everywhere in a big city, check out Dallas!!!

This wind/rain is pretty usual this time of year. It'll clear off and leave very nice weather for a few days, then it's back to the rain.

about 75 miles from spring. price range 4,000-6,000. Small trucks like chevy s-10 or nissan frontier. If any one know of any listing and or websites let me know. I have searched craigs list and auto trader but no luck. Thanks

Yeah out there it's Sage____ or Kirk____. I can't ever keep it straight.
