Just want to give everyone an update so any other who experience the same situation may benefit from my lesson learned!

Backflash: There was a low spot in the backyard when we bought the house. It's just underneath the master beadroom window. We didn't pay much attention to it and filled it with dirt and thought it should be fine. But it keeps to be wet and muddy even in these dry winter days and begins getting larger.

There are two sprinkler heads in this area but they spays fine without blockage. We also checked the water meter and the leak indicator isn't moving.

The advices I got here make us brave to dig the area carefully and found a subtal leaking sprinkler valve. We shut of the control panel and even cut the whole power. But with the water valve open, the sprinkler could work. of course with the leakage. But simply after it is tightened, no water comes up any more!!!

So enjoy the DIY!

We don't have experience dealing with the house so have no clue what to do and what kind of contractor we should go to.

Any one can give any advices or recommendation?

Thanks a lot!
