Does anyone have any experience with this builder? Google did not really turn up much.

They have reasonably priced town houses & condos, the finishes are low-mid grade but we like the layouts and honestly seem in line with their price ranges..

There is an active lawsuit filed against them for deceptive practices by about 20 of the residents at the Westcross development New homeowners left with 'barely a trickle' of water pressure | khou.com Houston. We actually took a peek inside one up there and it seemed decent enough. This particular development is the only one of theirs that is apparently established enough to have internet options from AT&T/Comcast/Dish Network, though. Maybe not a big deal to you, but I work from home on VPN, so we didn't look into them any further once I realized that.

We are looking at their new development off Hullsmith just down the street from the galleria. $179k for a new build condo/townhome seems like a good deal for that area since we aren't able to acquire anything in Westmont/tanglewilde..

Any opinions on this? We really just want a place for 5-7 years under $220-$230kish, and their other developments seem to have done pretty well. The location is pretty great just down westheimer from uptown/galleria.

I actually live in the Developement that they have on Main Street just outside of the 610 loop and I haven't had any issues. Finding anything else in that price range in this location that's not 60 years old and falling apart is impossible. There was a water pressure issue but the developer installed a new pump and have guaranteed that the pressure will always stay above 40 PSI. Ive lived in my house for nearly a year and don't have any regrets.

The Main Plaza development is currently facing a work stoppage order from the city because of a fire hydrant issue. Expected completion date of our property was in October 2014 but now it has been pushed back to January/ February 2015.

Since this got bumped here is an update, we ended up purchasing a home in Westbury.

Our realtor had issues communicating with this company and had a client who had purchased one previously who was kind enough to offer some comments. after taking everything into consideration we decided it wasn't worth it.

We are very happy with our decision!

Do you know if the issue with the fire hydrants have been resolved? We have not heard from our realtor or builder. Thanks.

Have you heard if they started construction again? We drove by a week ago and they still had the warning signs in front of the gate.
