Anybody know who originally developed Walden on Lake Houston and Walden on Lake Conroe? They were developed back in the 70's & 80's and I'm curious who the developer was. I'd also love to know who developed Atascocita. Anybody have deep enough memories of those projects?

It's definitely not Kickarillo. I can't remember who, but I have a few friends in that biz, I'll ask them.

A guy with last of Belen developed the two Waldens as I recall. He also developed weston lakes, Elkins lakes and pecan plantation I believe. Atascocita might have been Larry Johnson who lost it to the sw plan, predecessor to the RTC in the 1980s before Kingwood developer Friendswood bought it . Friendswood was owned by Exxon at the time it was bought

I thought Bruce Belin developed April Sound - somebody else developed the two Waldens. Here's a little history on April Sound: April Sound - Your Houston News: Living

You might be right about Johnson starting Atascocita.
