More homes coming to Fort Bend - Houston Chronicle

Another new development coming to Sugarland.

This is why I think the houses in SL is getting to be overvalued. There is an unlimited supply of land here.

The article mentioned that the development would be "near Sugar Land", so I don't think it is technically in Sugar Land. It looks like it might be in Richmond.

In any case, I did not know about it. Thanks for posting. I can now see why so many new elementary schools are being proposed for this area of FBISD.

Yes, it appears to be across from Aliana. Probably a Richmond address.

Is it going in on the prison land that was for sale?

What are the advantages of being *in* Sugarland as opposed to just outside Sugarland?

I wouldn't say none. I would rather be in a city than an unincorporated area.

Nice location...It looks like it's going to be built around Travis High School.

This will probably boost our chances of finally getting that HEB on Harlem and 99.

I wonder when they'll sell the Jester Units. The real estate is too valuable, isn't it?

I read that there are a few men on death row who are so mentally disturbed that they have to be housed in one of the Jester psychiatric units. http://www.texastribune.org/2013/02/...thomas-part-5/ Most men on death row are up in Livingston while the ladies are in Gatesville.

This will REALLY increase traffic on Harlem Rd. Also, it looks like some of those homes will be pretty close to the jail. With homes going up around it, I wonder if they will go ahead and move the facility. I'm sure that will take years, but it must be up for discussion.
