I recall reading an article about development of a large area inside 610, north of 10, in the northwest quadrant, I think close to the design district. The entry to the neighborhood was to be manned and gated. Anyone remember the name or have any information? It was to include single family homes, I think they were referred to as "cottage style", and townhomes, along with parks and common areas. It's not Fountain Park is it? I'm thinking it's much larger than Fountain Park.

Interesting development... it is like the suburbs crossed with the city. Probably starting at 500K. There is little info on it.

Thank you! You are a sharp bunch! This article states townhomes only. I could be wrong but I thought the article from the Chronicle mentioned both townhomes and regular homes. Oh well.

Plans for the project — Somerset Green at 6900 Old Katy Road — include about 500 three - and four - story single-family town homes on small lots
Who would want to live in that?

God what a horrible location if you are a walker or runner. Land locked by freeways, noise and no trees.
