Hi, can anyone offer any input on either of these two Pearland neighborhoods? We are considering two homes in those areas. We have a six year old daughter and are looking for somewhere family-oriented. Thanks!

River Mist is on the East side of Pearland not far from Independence Park and the library. It is zoned to CJ Harris Elementary School, Alexander Middle School and Pearland Jr High East. It is quite close to the Library which has many activities for children. You could probably walk to the park and to many events over there which is a plus.

Cambridge Lake is on the West side of Pearland. It appears to be zoned to Carleston Elementary, Jamison Middle School and Pearland Junior High South. While my granddaughter attended Massey Ranch for Elementary, she is at Jamison now and we really love it. Given it's location, I wonder about the zoning for the schools since it looks like it would be walkable to Massey and Rogers. PISD is not always good at zoning for its schools because of the growth.

I suspect both are fairly family oriented given the locations. We live a little further west in a very family friendly area.
