My favorite thing about left lane driving...
When they get to a point when traffic is not moving, but since they are on the left lane they can't see it coming and then they have to slam on their breaks and swerve to the left shoulder to save their a....

I think a lot of them stay on the left lane because they don't have to worry about anything "bothering them" on the left side because of the huge left shoulders we have here.

We need to get rid of that useless "left shoulder"

Didn't you know that the left shoulder is for the cops to pull you over for speeding?

I must say, y all are funny people, Great sense of humor

Although, a few mention immigrants, I have seen. Black, white, brown, yellow, male and female, all shape and size. Driving without a clue as to what's in front or behind them.

Just last week, I saw a lady, tossing chicken bones out her window. I wish I had dash camera.

Kinda of like not using your hi-beams all the damn time - which happens way too much in this town.

It would be interesting to find out exactly what people who do this are thinking. Whenever I notice someone tail gating me in the left lane I quickly put my blinker on so they know I'm going to move over as soon as possible. Why would I want to be the person to inconvenience people or cause road rage, what if the person has an emergency, going into labor etc? Regardless of what yall say... There is a few "types" who notoriously drive slow in left lane. And when you notice it, go ahead and google it, you will find an answer. People aren't "oblivious" to whats going on around them, they're actively trying to p*** people off, there's actually a sorta movement, in the name of trying to p *** people off by slowing them down... Especially around these parts.

You'll also notice cab drivers and Super Shuttle routinely terrorizing people in the left lane.

I will say this specifically about slow space cadet drivers in the left lane, in Houston...

If you have a law with minor consequences, AND you don't have warning signs, AND you don't enforce it, people are going to shrug it off.

It is quite clear to me people shrug it off. On I-10 thru Louisiana, people drive slower in general, and more drivers cruise in the right lane, and only pass in the left. In LA, they enforce the law, and have clear warning signs.

Seems like this is sort of new like within the last 10 years. Correct me if I'm wrong but I remember growing up here and the left lane was like a Nascar racing lane. You could take it easy in the other lanes but you knew left meant haul ass

Now the Nascar lane is all the lanes since the left lane is now the "slow lane"
