Good to see we are taking steps in the right direction with more public transit. Looks nice. Now if only it could connection to the Richmond line. They really need to start that project soon. It will be huge to link the Downtown, Med Center, Montrose, Upper Kirby, and the Galleria together.

You mean Westpark line? Maybe all the Business Development zones should develop their own mass transit plans in conjunction with the City's plans

I meant the Richmond line. It is going through Afton Oaks whether they like it or not. They don't need federal funding to put the line down Richmond. I don't even understand why they want to block it. I wish I would be in walking distance of the rail.

Is it really worth the fight when a Richmond to Shepard to Westpark line would work just as well and get done faster?

A Richmond / Weslayan / Westpark line, you mean, and we could start with Post Oak-style BRT. If you're not going to serve Greenway Plaza, then what's the point? And don't tell me you can serve Greenway transit patrons from Westpark, that's baloney. And also don't tell me Weslayan has too much traffic - hmm, that sounds like it needs BRT that much more.
