Wow, so many hotels going up for the 2017 Super Bowl. It'll be very interesting to see how well they fare afterwards. Loving all the progress downtown!

For big events and conferences many people are shoved into hovel motels around the outskirts. These new hotels will do more than fine

I agree. Its been bad that people have to stay out by Greenspoint and further when big events come to town. We will get more big ticket events if we had a more proximate hotel/entertainment area.

Lots of new hotels in Downtown Houston and I believe Red John said the Ritz Carlton is rumored seeking a spot in Downtown as well. Long overdue if true.

Not as iconic as the initial rendering had shown it to be (seems to be the case a lot of times with many Houston projects), BUT it will be a very nice and welcomed addition to downtown nonetheless.

Still looks good. I love staying at different hotels in Houston just go see what they have to offer and how they compare to other cities. I will probably be able to see this one going up from my office since it faces east. There's already some tall yellow cranes in that vicinity, not sure what the cranes are are working on though.
