Never heard of it but always be sure to check their accreditation.

It is licensed, but it is not affiliated with the American Montessori Society or with American Montessori International, USA.

Anyone can say they are a Montessori school because the name is not trademarked. Check to see if the teachers are Montessori trained. Check to see if the materials are truly Montessori materials with self-correcting aspects so that the children learn how to use them.

I personally like eclectic schools that use some Montessori principles, but that also do some group activities for music and art and that have some circle times where they read to the children. Traditional Montessori schools generally have the children working as individuals for most of the day.

I agree witn Nana. Anyone can call themselves Montessori. They can charge more $$$$ if Montessori is in the name.

a school with montessori principles, but also some arts and music and dance, creative as well as academic stimulation without being too rigid or too tootsie..
