Hi all can anyone tell me about any one of their experinaces with the Summer Sage subdivision in Cinco Ranch? Anything you know about that subd. would help me a whole lot. Im thinking about going with a DR Horton 4 bdr. 2.5 bath for around 180K, is that good bad? Thank you in advance

I really like living in Cinco Ranch. D R Horton is kinda a so-so reputation, but 180k sounds about right.

The one thing to know that I wanted to point out is that Katy ISD is fast growing and fast changing school boundaries. I say that because I just went through a contentios rezoning with our elementary, and now there is a huge hoop-la over the jr high rezoning.

Parents say their devolper/builder "promised" this school. "I only moved here to go to this *one-exact-school*" "I don't want to rezone, after I just moved my kids here" "NOBODY TOLD ME I MIGHT GET REZONED!"

So I just want to be the one that tells you, yes you may get rezoned. Developers have no say in where the neighborhood goes to school. (even though they will promise you the moon to get your money) And if you see a bunch of undeveloped land around you, you better bet new houses will go up and new schools will go in. You might have to re-shuffle.

Oh, and a gas station is going up at Cinco Ranch BLVD and Gaston. Some People say if only they new that they wouldn't have moved there.

Me, I'm fine. I moved out here with construction on all 3 sides excited to watch it all grow. And Cinco Ranch has wonderful amentities... we love all the pools to go to in the summer. The neighborhood has a great resale reputation and all the schools are top-notch even new or when you get reshuffled. It's exciting to watch it grow.
