Does anyone think the housing prices in the loop are beginning to stabilize or do you think they will continue to rise?

Continue to rise. They aren't making any more land inside the Loop.

What Chery said. This is simple supply and demand. I don't see the prices slowing down for the next few decades with our expected growth. I would not be surprised if my house doubles in price again over the next decade.

It will continue to rise as interest rates are currently low, once interest rates go back up. prices will somewhat stabilize. But inside the loop this is a different case because there's limited land. Property in the loop that is inside the neighborhoods of the more 'desirable' areas (Upper Kirby, Bellaire, West U, SH, River Oaks, Montrose, Afton Oaks, Southern east of the Heights) spike even more, so you can expect the growth to be rapid even in the next 4 years, especially in those neighborhoods)

Keyan,

Do you think this will also continue in Woodland Heights?

Thanks!

Woodland Heights is a desirable Inner Loop area of the Heights. It hosts the annual Lights in the Heights Christmastime event.

For sure, Woodland Heights is one of the most sought out after areas in the Heights. Many of those homes have to participate in "Lights in the Heights" and people love it. There is usually a bidding war going on for those homes, with sellers receiving multiple offers. That area will always be in demand

Woodland Heights is an architecturally charming neighborhood in a prime central location. It's a great place. AT&T filmed a commercial in our friends' house on Bayland last week, one of the most beautiful streets in Houston.
