I am a recently separated veteran. I plan on moving from Virginia Beach, VA to Houston. I've been taking college courses and I have certifications in IT (cisco, security, etc.) I want to pursue my degree and settle down there. How's the job market there in the IT field?

Ok. Thank you.

Would you happen to know of any local job board websites?

Not really, but others might. I just know monster and the usual ones. There is a ton of IT work in the medical center. Probably, the most in Houston. We also have oil/gas and the energy industry. You are an IT guy. Work google for a job board in Houston.

I have but I found that Dallas has more tech jobs. Houston is exactly what you said, oil and gas.
