You can certainly build a small house on your lot. It does not really make any sense money wise though. Lot prices are just so high here. A lot in Heights or Montrose will start at 400K. Putting a 200K house on a 400K lot to me does not make sense. The lot is the value. I would move into an old bungalow and fix it up. Later on when you are finally ready to move you will not have sunk in a bunch of money. I have thought about selling my house a few times and building from scratch. I would not build below 3Ksqft simply for resale, not that I need that much room.

Hello!
I know this is an older post but was looking for a tiny house and wondered if you still had this tiny house and where is it located?
Very cute!

Thank you!

I wanted to rent it out for a few years and then sell, but my husband didn't want to have to deal with renters. I will always wonder how much we could have made on it.
Ever since a friend of my parents was murdered by his renter, I have zero desire to have renters unless I use a service.

I don't think there are many of these in the Houston area.

Here's one for sale in Conroe

Probably in his back-yard used as the playhouse for his children.

Were you aware the word gullable is no longer in the dictionary?

Maybe because it is spelled " gullible ". ;-) And, if you were insinuating I am gullible for asking if something is still available, not knowing what I was going to do with it, you are being judgemental and assuming. And you know what they say about people who assume. Ass u me. Have a nice day.

If you're going to call someone out on spelling, at least make sure you can spell yourself.

"Judgmental" NOT "judgemental"

This "tiny house" movement seems to be just the sort of idiotic fad we don't need in the city of Houston.

Take this hippie garbage elsewhere.
