WOW. How big does anyone think these lots are? They look bigger than most lots in Hunters Creek, Piney Point and River Oaks

Yep, I drove in there once by mistake and was quite floored by the size of the properties. Very impressive.

You might still be able to find something in Summerfield, Stratford Park, or Park Pointe (Sugar Land but just outside city limits). Won't be brand new, but you will have some mature trees, good schools, and not so far out compared to many of the newer developments.

My husband I and stopped house hunting for about 6 weeks. We reconsidered the area we wanted to live in and increased our budget. I'm glad we did because I no longer liked the area we were considering, and we spent 6 weeks exploring the area and finding out what we really liked.

From what I've read, they keep a population of 'wild' peacocks in the neighborhood as a unique charm; that's wild and eccentric.

I think the back story is a guy gave his wife a couple about 50 years ago - and they all came from that. There are a few other neighborhoods in the vicinity with several of the birds. They make a noise like a screaming cat that will startle you, the first time hearing it.
