lol! yea, i'm not a big fan of Torchys. Would love it if they opened a Taco Deli here though.

Torchys does have expensive tacos, but they are darn good.

I've been once and thought they were good and, if this news is true, they'll probably do quite well there. If they're building more locations, the market must not think they're overpriced, or at least they're bringing something to the table that there is a demand for, although I do understand that sentiment.

yes..apparently, they are taking over 2 spaces- the mission burrito space and the one next to it.

Torchy's is ok, not great. The flavor is a tiny little bitty on the bland side. I wouldn't mind paying even more if they improved the taste. Maybe it's the tortilla, too plain and dry, straight out of the bag you get at the store.
