That would be way too expensive.

What's your budget? Are schools important? Do you need a yard?

Edit: just saw schools are not a factor.

ideal is under 200k but willing to go up to 215k. Would like a yard but not a lot of trees/foliage etc..as that attracts snakes from what I hear.

I know some folks out there and they like it but its more for how close it is to their jobs off 288

You can go anywhere you want in HISD so schools are ruled out...

There are other newer neighborhoods off Almeda and Orem but I know nothing about it outside of offering good location

Thanks! I will take a look. I think I would be willing to give up location in exchange for a nicer home/good neighborhood. This is potentially a 30 year investment so I want to be sure I don't make a huge mistake by buying in the wrong neighborhood fir the sake of having a good commute.

I would do a town home with your budget. There are a few in your price range right next to the medical Center.

Or live in Pearland and get a house. It's congested, but your commute would be so much longer from any other suburb.

The only problem with a townhome is that I lose space. 200k will get me a full home with 2 car garage.
