You might want to look into a mosquito system.

There were very few mosquitoes in the Eastwood area all summer -- but now they're terrible!

I'll be sure to take my shop vac to your side and open your front door and put the hose on the blower side.

Default Floodwater mosquitos

I think what the area is experiencing now are floodwater mosquitos... these are from eggs that were laid about a year, or more ago, but they don't receive their signal to hatch until the rain water saturates the ground, where they are located. You don't always need pools of water for these type of mosquitos!

Same here in Pearland, I came home to about 6 or 7 buzzing around my entry way. I'm surprised I haven't seen the County of Brazoria truck spraying, they are usually good for spraying right after heavy rains. I'm actually headed out this morning armed with 3 cans of the lawn spray to hose down my front and back yard.

You can request spraying here if you are within Brazoria County

Could be. The ones that are bad now are day biters as opposed to the usual variety that are mostly active at dusk and dawn.

You can thank your inconsiderate neighbors for letting water accumulate on their property

Today--for the first time--I turned on the garage light & several geckos went running around! The geckos & anoles are feasting!
