Hello everyone,

My wife and I just got married and we are planning to build a new house. We work around Galleria area so we are looking for communities around southwest (willing to drive 20-30 miles each way).

Our budget is 200-$220K. Must be 2 stories and 4 bedrooms because we are planning to have kids. At least 1800 sq. A cookie cutter house does not matter because we just want a good house to raise our future kids. We were thinking of Centex in Waterview Estates community but after reading so many complaints we are freaking out. Which builder shall we choose that fit into this budget? Thank you so much for your help.

Centex ? Perry ? Brighton homes? Devon Street Homes ???

Out of those four, I think Perry would be the best.

My coworker showed me some beautiful homes she is considering that are made by Lennar, you should check them out in your search if they are in your area. the Pearland area is about 23 miles from Galleria, with many new housing opportunities available.

Thank you for your replies. We finally chose Perry Home Builder and will build our new home in the Creekmont (50').
Do you have any experiences with this area? Thanks in advance.

Default Cookie Cutter Home

Definitely not a Westin Home. You will regret dropping a $1.00 let alone thousands.

No, We bought in Riverpark West.
We signed the contract at Shadow Creek Ranch at first, but ending loosing our earnest money because of the landfill next to the community.
