We lived in Fall Creek just off the beltway and the noise never bothered me. Should not be a concern unless you are hyper sensitive to any noise.

Lennar.

Not sure they are that good but you only have so many choices in that price range.

Congrats! Lennar is a pretty good builder for that price range. My boss has been going back and forth between a resale home and a new Lennar in the $250k range, because they do include a lot in the basic home. I'm just amazed at the price increase in homes since we bought ours. We looked at the same house as ours in Fairfield before we bought ours, and it was 3000 sqft for $165K. Now something comparable is about $320K! I'm sure not making twice what I was making back then!

Good luck on the build!

They seemed pretty good to us. We decided not to go with them because we didn't find a floor plan that we liked.

You'll be fine. Just stay on top of them during the build process and hire an inspector for at least the pre-drywall and the pre-close phases. Congrats!

The home we bought just went up another 2 thousands bucks today. Glad I got in when I did because this seems to have no need.
