Took the kids and family from Mexico to the Space Center. Here are some photos:

Saw Dan Rather there; that was weird. A lady who appeared to be his daughter snapped this photo for us:

Dan Rather went with you guys? I think the Space Center should add more rides there that aren't really geared towards elementary aged kids. Maybe make it like Epcot.

Nice pics! I was just wondering when you were going to be posting more photos!

Not that weird... Dan Rather is from our neck of the woods. He grew up in the Heights.

Speaking of the Heights, when are you going there to take pictures?

RGV, you ought to write a book. Great stuff once again and Dan Rather, too. I'm amazed you didn't get an interview from him.

Hey Case, Rather looked tired so I didn't bother him too much. But he was very nice and approachable.

Houstoner, I keep wanting to go to the Heights but end up never getting there. I'll try next week.

But, boy, what great timing it was to run into a celebrity. Wow!

The Space Center and Dan Rather - WOW! Loved the pictures and how cool to have Dan Rather stop and take some time with you and your family/kids.

Hey RGV, great pics! I have a question--what did you think of it overall? We were thinking of taking our 6 and 4 year old nephews there this coming Spring. Do you think they'd like it? Do you know if the Star Wars stuff will still be there?

It's either that or Moody Gardens.

Your kids are too young to enjoy the technical stuff, but they will love the multilevel jungle jim. It's an expensive trip for the kids to spend on a jungle jim though.

And, I don't know how long the Star Wars exhibits will be there. Sorry,

I'd take them to Kemah or the beach instead.
