It doesnt seem like we have a thread to discuss Houston development. There used to be a Towers of Texas thread that was closed, but maybe a Houston specific thread on development (not just towers) would be more civil.
To start it off.. Here is a fairly complete/accurate list (by height) of all the high-rises over 12 stories that we know of, U/C, Proposed, or Rumored. I notice off hand a few have moved forward from rumored or proposed to proposed or U/C. Many thanks to Urbannizer for the list!

Here is the Development Map (with renderings) of all the new projects going on in downtown. There are 38 projects U/C or planned/approved in downtown atm.
I should have rented into Skyhouse when it was under $1500 for a studio :[. Now I'm looking for a highrise studio and everything is $1600 per month and up.
new convention center office/hotel tower.. quite possibly the most mixed use building in all of Houston. it has space for a restaurant, an office building, a 17 story hotel on top of that office building, a 1,900 space parking garage, a light rail stop on the north side of the building (and another on the south side of the building, one block west), light rail trains going THROUGH the parking garage, and a bus terminal/transit center.
Yeah, I love HAIF, I just figured it would be easier for those already on this forum to discuss the development here vs trying to get everyone to move over to haif.
