I am moving to Houston in January, I need a cheap safe apartment 1 bedroom less than $600. I travel alot work so closer to the airport is better but that's is not a requirement. or closer to commercial area is also good.

I would appreciate any good apartment community suggestions.

Thanks

Are you willing to have roommates?

Cheap and good for $600 or less without roommates will not happen.

I actually recently did a search and you can find places to rent 1 or 2 BR's for that budget.

now whether or not they were good I can not swear for all of them. one however was a smaller house in Brookside Village (right next to Pearland).

I wouldn't think it was bad but I never actually saw the place so whose to say.

you might want to specify which airport it is you want to be close to also.

You can get a decent 1 bed room for $700 to $750 2 bed room for $850 to $900 if you do not mind living way the heck out or in a small older complex that is 2 to 3 miles from down town

Your best bet is to work with an apartment locator service. $600 and good/safe is going to be hard to find.

Redstone Vista Apartments for Rent - Houston, TX Apartments | Apartment Finder

maybe this can get you started. google is your friend! and as an added bonus it seems for the budget 77060 is one of the closer zip codes with multiple choices. going east and north the prices seem to go up but no I wasn't super thorough in searching.
