Does anybody know if clear creek isd let us do a inter district transfer? My son starts school next year and we are zoned to the worse elementary school in ccisd. I don't understand why we are zoned there when there is a closer school to us. We are right next to the boundary line of the school we would like our kids to go to.

What's the worst elementary school to you, none of them are that bad?

It's landolt. There ranking are not as good as the other 2 that are closer to where we live. Do you know anybody that went there, if so how was it.

I don't know why you call landolt the worst school in CCISD. It is not and there are schools in CCISD that are worse than Landolt . At the elementary level, what's important is the teacher, not the school.
My daughter used to go to a 'worst' school (per your definition) in CCISD. She thrived there and I couldn't be happier.
She is now with the 'best' school is CCISD (as others have told me).
While she's doing fine there, I personally prefer the teachers and staffs at the old school.

That said. Here's the link to CCISD about intra district transfer. I didn't read the whole thing but doesn't look easy at all.
You need to have solid reasons, not just b/c you think the school is not the best.

Mcwhirter IS the worst school in the district, not Just according to me but the very ccisd website-can't even consistently meet state standards. It pains everything in me to pay a 350+ house to end up sending my daughter to that school...has anyone actually obtained an intra district transfer? Or do you know anyone that has? How feasible is it really?

Unless things have changed, they will not allow a transfer. Landolt was going down the tubes when we moved away 18 years ago. I can only imagine what it is like today. Good luck.
