Rumbos Online: A Germanic Colony in the Andes

Quote:
It was German traveller Baron Cosme Damián Schütz von Holzhausen, who, after visiting German colonies in Texas, had the idea of creating other colonies in South America.

After a trip to the Alto Marañon area, he began to encourage immigration towards the Montane forests of Peru. On this trip in 1852 he established a friendship, and a small community with Manuel Ijurria, a miner from Cerro de Pasco.

Today Pozuzo is a town marked by its roots. Typical tyrolese dress is worn on festival days, both German and Spanish are spoken and families still conserve names such as Schmidt, Heidinger, Müller, and Köhel. You can also see the natural and necessary growth of mestizaje in the town, the fruit the harmonious coexistence between colonist and native. This can be seen in family names native to the region combined with Tyrolese first and last names, giving way to a totally new generation of Peruvians.

Blood is universal. Racism is a taught behavior and not a genetic thing. There are racists in every group and those racists pass that to their children via their parenting. There are criminals in every group and all deserve equally bad treatment.

You do understand the process of evolution right? Maybe in 1,000 years those German-Peruvians will be dark like the natives.

I also hope you understand that simple line around the center of the Earth we studied in grade school called the equator. Its the closest spot to the sun.

I've also lived in Dallas & Houston for 7 years.

If you knew anything about Tyler you would be well aware of our large Lebanese community. Ever heard of Johnny Manziel?

We also have a large Filipino community who recently set a world record for number of egg rolls rolled.

Wow I've spent lots of time in Tyler and never realized what a diverse and cosmopolitan city it was! Johnny Manziel and holder of the Filipino Egg Roll world record. I'm incredulous!

Uh...Tyler is only 60% White. Texas as a state is 70% White. We are well below the state average.

Metro Matt is a troll. Stop feeding him. If he doesn't get that there are white Hispanics then he is wholly ignorant. Has he never seen the Spanish channel?

Matt look up, William Levy, Carlos Ponce, Luis Miguel, Alexis Bledel, and countless others?

There are gangs, no one is denying that but the point is, is Houston infested with them to the point that it's causing city wife turmoil? I think not. Also I'm surprised nothing has been done about metro matts obvious supremacist trolling.
