Is it strange to only have one water heater for a home with three full baths? Every builder I've walked would at least have two, but for some reason my home only has one. Should I be concerned about this or not worry about it?

No, there is no reason to be concerned. I would say that it is probably a 50 gallon water heater and will sufficiently take care of your water needs.

How many teenage boys do you have? They can outshower a teen girl everyday of the week. Solution, get a small water heater for just the master bath, let the dudes battle it out for hot water demand.

A 50 gallon tank handles three bathrooms easily, if "normal" showers are taken. You just can't run the dishwasher or washing machine during high shower volume times.

Agree. And they must also use a brand new towel each time they shower, which they then throw on the ground.

Yes! We have strategically placed laundry baskets in the rooms, where towels commonly "fall." Seems to work. We noticed, however, that right around 17, when they are required to do ALL their own laundry, towels get used for weeks.

Attic space is not an issue.

Google works too! Was hoping for some real life input. I'm thinking a 30gal to be on the safe side.
