Either he was going faster than 50 or the signs read 35, but there's no way in hell he was going 50 in a 50 and received a speeding ticket, that's just ridiculous. Hey OP, what speed did the officer say you were going on your ticket and what did he put as the posted speed on your ticket?
So, in other words, you have no idea if the posted signs said 50 or not?

I got pulled over for speeding and failing to maintain my lane. I knew both of these were bogus and I asked for proof. He said I could get that in court. I hired a lawyer friend and when the GPS and video evidence was subpoenaed sure enough it showed me driving in a perfect straight line and never going over the speed limit.

I found it quite bizarre the officer would have even pulled me over knowing there was hard evidence of his lies....

Yes, I do. The OP gave me all the information that I need.

You can be cited for going the speed limit (i.e. 50 in a 50) if there are adverse conditions. Was it raining or were the roads wet? Was there any construction in the area?

Only if it's posted or there's a warning of some sort. Tickets based solely on the cops discretion have a better chance of being thrown out with a good defense lawyer.

Right, so what I'm saying is; He was either going over 50 when the posted speed was 50, or the posted speed was 35 and he was going 50. He did not get a ticket for going 50 on a street where the posted speed was 50.

You make the ASSUMPTION that it was posted at 35 and not 50, but you do not know that to be the FACT since you have not driven there and seen it.

I find it extremely highly unlikely it was posted at 50 and they wrote the ticket for going over 35; however, I'm not going to essentially call the OP a liar without something to support that wasn't the case. If somebody who live in Kemah or drives through there regularly says the signs were changed PRIOR to this incident, I'll tend to believe them. But, at this point, I'm not going to just assume the OP is making things up since posting such on here does nothing for him.

Where is the speed limit 50 in Kemah? Highest I recall is 45.

Speed limits on 518, 2094 and 146 are all 40 or 45mph.
