My brother built a home on his lot (by Trendmaker) 5 years ago. The other weekend, while they were doing some house cleaning, one of the undermount sinks literally dropped out. It was being held in place by adhesive and the plumbing. Being 5 years old, the home is out of warranty, so he called the plumber I use. That plumber, being an honest guy, told him to contact a granite company to have them reinstall the sink as it would be cheaper than having him do it as a licensed plumber.

I have a couple of questions related to this:

Does anyone have any contact information for someone at Trendmaker? I really want to give that info to my brother since he spent north of $800K on this house only to have lots of little crap go wrong (leak in the roof, leaking window, sink dropping out).

Any recommendations for companies that would be good for this sort of repair job. I figure it's smaller than most granite jobs, but if there's a company someone has had a similar, positive, experience with, I'd love to be able to refer them.

Thanks!

I would still call the warranty department and see if they can refer you to someone.

You would think that the sink would have support braces holding it as well as the epoxy they use to secure the sink. I know my way less than $800k house has that.

More than likely they will tell you to call a plumber again.
