Can anyone give me an idea of what it would cost to get some men's clothes altered in the Midtown/Montrose area? Lost a good amount of weight recently and nothing fits anymore. Have about 10 pairs of pants I want taken in. Found some good places on yelp but just looking for an idea of cost per pair.

Most cleaners will do it, there is often a lady sitting in the corner at older places who does alterations.
Used a couple places in midtown but they were pricy. Now I use place on Studemont @ Washington or on 11th at Yale. You can pay Men's Wear house also.

Martin Tailor's in the heights is the best place I've been. Great work and reasonably priced

I called up a place called nhu's that has really good reviews. She said to just bring in a pair, get a quote, see how I like it, and we can take it from there. Problem is I have no idea if we're talking $15 a pair or $50. Most of my pants cost around $30 and my jeans around $40. So I'm just trying to figure if there's any point or if I should just buy new pants.

If you can afford it get some new pants, good sales now.

Tailoring may run $7-10 an item.

Not worth the cost for $30 pants.
