I'm looking for a Baylor physician gyn and children's gyn who is basically gone when you call his office. They gave no info. Anyone use him or know where to find him? Don't know if he is sick, retired or practicing elsewhere.

His license is still active.

Yes that is the number we are calling. They are saying he is unavailable indefinitely and they are giving no other information. , We have checked everywhere that we could think of so that is why we are trying here to see if any of his patients or associates may be on city data and can shed some light.

Well they don't have to give you any info.

If he is unavailable then ask for your medical records and go elsewhere.

He is a fabulous doctor and we are trying to locate him if he is practicing elsewhere. He deals with pediatric gynecology as well as adults and right now I have a family member in need of finding him if he is still practicing -- if he isn't, they will of course go elsewhere but they aren't wanting to start over with a new one if they don't have to.

From what they're saying he could be "unavailable" for a myriad of reasons - sickness, moving, retiring, rehab, relocation, suspension, etc....they probably can't release any other information due to privacy issues. You will have to take what they can give you and make a decision based on that, i'm afraid.

Good luck and hope you find someone suitable if he cannot be located. Does he have a Facebook, LinkedIn, etc...

I know they can't give me info, just hoping that if he has moved in elsewhere, that perhaps another patient who may be on this forum who sees him as a patient may know where he is now, if he is even available somewhere.

His medical license still lists that address as his primary place of practice. They have to keep up with that type of thing.

What do they say when you try to book an appt? If they tell you he is unavailable that could be for various reasons. If you are identifying yourself and they tell you he is unavailable then maybe he doesn't want to see you anymore. Doctors do label their patients in the system that they don't want to see anymore, ie stalker types... I've done it numerous times.

Might be a good idea to get your medical records and find another doctor.

He hasn't seen any patients at that office since October, so it isn't a personal thing. But I'm going to request this thread be deleted because a mod has moved it. I wanted it in the houston forum in case he has moved elsewhere in houston and is practicing. Was hoping current or new patients who see him recognize the name and share his current houston practice info.
