Quality of life? Commute? Relative Houston home value? Tax and insurance situation? Lots of small children in area?

You've been strongly hinting at a 25% correction in other Houston areas. Sedona Lakes will be in that first wave of corrections if it were to happen. There's not much going for it in terms of a suburban Houston community.

Sedona Lakes residents are mostly Medical profession, they're not directly effected by the oil/gas prices.

The commute down 288 is horrible.. It will only get worse.

I think homes are way overpriced for that area.

Construction begins this summer on a 288 toll road. When completed, it will begin south of 518 and extend to where 288 meets the medical center area; there will be a dedicated entrance/exit ramp for the medical center. The 288/Beltway intersection will also finally have interchanges, so you can directly get from one to the other without having to exit to the feeder road, turn, and then reenter.

Supposed to take 3 years to complete.

Hi, We are first time home buyers and we are close to buying a house either in Sedona Lakes or Pomona. Any inputs or tips on which builder is better. We are aiming for around 350K home and we have a 5 yr old with learning issues, so we have concerns about the school as well.
Thanks
