All,

Good evening.

Me and my wife are thinking about moving from The Woodlands to Houston. We don't have kids and we are both working in downtown. We are considering The Heights, Rice Military and Jackson Hill. Could anybody advise us as to which areas we should avoid in the above mentioned communities.

Alex, you might want to consider adding Garden Oaks to your list. You can get ALOT more house and lot for your money and it's only 5 blocks north of the Heights. Only about 5 miles to downtown.

I have a friend who lived near Jackson Hill and liked it. Wishes he could go back. A little bit Montrose, a little bit Heights, and a whole lot accessible to downtown on Memorial.
