Obviously, it is a new development in Spring, just south of the Woodlands.
The MPC website does not tell us much, so I was wondering if anyone has any experience or information about here. Schools, neighborhood, effect of its proximity to Grand Parkway and the railway, etc.

DR Horton, Emerald and MI Homes are building as well as some custom home builders which will take the price to over a million.

Seems like it will be a nice community to live in.
Definitely on the higher side, so i guess your neighbors shouldn't' be too bad.
Taxes are high, GP99 will be near it and so is the railway. commute wise i guess the GP99 helps.
really depends where you end up with a lot and how many trees and sound barrier walls go up to help the sound.

It is about 2 miles away from the railroad. Do you think it is a bad investment considering the noise? Do people really care about the trains (about 1-2 times/day) that much?

I think it is too early for that area to tell if it is sound investment. We passed on that neighborhood due to the fact we couldn't predict how the area would turn out due to 99, the railroad, apartments, and surrounding area. Too many unknown variables.

I can say that the community is in a prime real estate location and with that said many big box retail stores will follow. Fox Hollow is situated in front of 99, so having any hwy noise may or may not be an issue for McKenzie Park.

I would think that since the development is just a couple of miles from the new Exxon campus, it should be a great investment. That reason alone should be make it prime property, don't you think? Would love to hear people's thoughts?

Any experience with the assigned schools? Klein ISD- Northampton Elementary, Hildebrant MS, Klein Collins HS.
I get 6/10, 7/10 and 8/10 when I check on Great School Ratings or Zillow.

Is there anyone with some information/experience with these schools? Klein ISD- Northampton Elementary, Hildebrant MS, Klein Collins HS. I find very mixed reviews everywhere.

Most people say Klein ISD is very good but Klein Collins HS is just average. Does that sound right?

Klein ISD as a whole is a good district, but with any school district there are going to be some schools with bad/average ratings. In KISD you don't want to be zoned to Klein Florest. That is the poorest performing HS in KISD. Don't quote me on this, but I believe Klein HS has a bit of an edge over Klein collins and KO is the top HS. Northampton and Hildebrant are feeders into the KO, are you sure you would be zoned to KC? McKenzie Park is right down the street from KO. That would suck if they zoned Mckenzie park to KC which is miles away.

I had a police officer in friendswood tell me "just because you move into a higher priced neighborhood doesn't ensure you good neighbors. You wouldn't believe some of the calls we have to make." I would imagine that applies everywhere. It's luck of the draw in neighbors.
