Most road construction I have ever seen in Houston I just drove from W Grey And Shepard To Willowbend area back streets and just about every mile there was road construction. This road construction is getting outta hand it take 5 to 15 miles more to get anywhere in the city . Most of the road construction I saw was not to fix the street it is to fix pipes.

Wish we saw more of them on the west side of town. We have man eating pot holes around here.

^^Yes, that Kirkwood will swallow your tire. One of the worst streets in Houston. I use Wilcrest to avoid it (which is much better in spots).

There was a pot hole on Eldridge not too long ago that would swallow your whole car. Thankfully it was fixed but it's still got other holes needing repaired. I'm ok with all the road construction as long as things are getting fixed. Houston continues to get older and the city continues to grow and the wear will continue. Even more reason to invest more in public transportation.

Agree, Eldridge has huge potholes because its very heavily traveled. Its essentially a parking lot between 4-6 on weekdays.

Kirkwood is terrible! The traffic is so bad in this city and it keeps getting worse and worse with all the newcomers.
