I have been distilling my Houston water for over a year - and, I have distilled water from my friend's homes in Houston, and have always found the same thing.

A tablespoon of a reddish, oil-ish liquid that won't evaporate in a distiller; tablespoon per gallon.

It smells pretty foul. THIS liquid is the reason that, after you wash your clothes, they don't smell 'fresh'. Mine smell like they have been sitting, wet, for a day or more.

I have found this in each and every gallon of water that I've distilled from any source on the Houston water system.

Does anyone have any idea what it is? (no, it's not the chloramine; that's colorless)

Possibly picante sauce. But could be something else entirely.

The aliens put that in there to keep you complacent with their rule. OBEY. CONSUME. CONFORM.

This is how things look if you stop drinking the water:

Years ago a state or federal investigation found the water was actually radioactive and this was known to texas law makers. It was supposed to be fixed and now safer but they are always battling to make EPA standards less strict so take that for what its worth

The reddish sludge does sound like old water pipe infastructure which the whole area has

Lots of flaming going on in this thread. I do get some red water on more occasions than I prefer though. Water is hard, harder than any place that I've lived. Future forever home will definitely have a water softener....and maybe a tankless water heater.

Haha i enjoyed that show. Rowdy roddy piper. Oh and that sludge is probably iron or another harmless sediment. Doubtful the whole city water supply could be contaminated without somebody besides larry609 noticing.
