Strange...you posted the same question with the same wording on another forum. I then looked at the usernames and it's the same person.

What's wrong with using the same username for different forums?

I'll give it couple weeks before emailing,as I'm sure they'll make some modifications because of the responses to the site change. But what most of us who have been on the Internet long enough know is that once a website makes an interface change, they never go back.

I just received the revamped daily listing email for my saved searches. Just like the website, everything is super-sized. HAR IT: please shrink the photo so you can at least get the photo and the property data on the screen at the same time! In this case, it's not about someone's viewing preference, that's just bad design.

I don't like the new site with the only exception being that you can now draw better maps with the map tool instead of just large boxes.

Other than the map, the site is much worse.

It is horrible. If I wanted a larger real estate ap, I would use one of them. Har.com had been so stellar and easy to use. Now it seems very similar to zillow and other sites. I searched for homes in Bellaire and got zero results. I have to do a map search now and zoom in from the larger map to Bellaire. Ugh.

Okay, has anyone else had this thought:

The acronym har is for Houston Association of Realtors, right? Who is the true targeted end user? Buyers and sellers, or realty professionals? And, if it is really for realtors, who would benefit from the website now arguably becoming less user friendly?

Maybe the realtors who are more savvy at doing searches and sourcing properties?? Or am I being cynical?

No, the map is much worse. Horrible even.

The sections numbers off was amazing! I loved being able to section off an area and they way they had their number zones was perfect.

Now that stupid draw a polygon is just ruining it and leaving out prime areas because it doesn't fit within the triangular area it wanted you to draw. And it's clunky and weird. It says draw and area yet it's a hand that just moved the map around. The old HAR a 4 year old who can scroll through a phone and knows numbers and letters could operate it.

This biggie sized, clunky hot mess is ridiculous.
